Ludlow Golf Caps Perfect Season, Wins Suburban League Championship
The Ludlow High School golf team completed a historic regular season, finishing with a perfect 15-0 record and capturing the Suburban League Championship under Head Coach Kurt Anderson. This marks the program’s first league title since 2017 and ties the school record for most wins in a season — a mark originally set in 1978 under Coach Larry Holdsworth.
The undefeated season is a testament to the team’s consistency, depth, and focus throughout the fall. Each match showcased the Lions’ balance of veteran leadership and emerging young talent, as they steadily built momentum toward the postseason.
Ludlow now turns its attention to the West Sectional Championship, which will take place on Tuesday, October 14th at 9:30 AM at their home course, Ludlow Country Club. The Lions will look to carry their dominant regular-season form into the tournament as they aim for sectional glory.
